Tipsfortravel.net is a hobby project dedicated to all simple travelers. Most of the articles, posts, reviews and short news are written by the admin and the owner of the site – Dimitri.
The main idea of this blog is to share real stories and give some practical tips to people who are planning to visit on the places this site writes about. You will most likely agree that majority of TV shows on such channels as Travel or Discovery Travel miss one important thing – they very seldom mention costs of trips, prices of hotels and food.
In my blog in topics such as Reviews you will find reviews of hotels, hostels and places to eat in different cities I’ve been myself or which my friends have visited. You will find some tips and suggestions on where to stay and why certain place is better than others.
Under the category travel Tips and Stories I’ve gathered travel stories about different places I’ve visited. Usually those posts are quite long, have pictures of things mentioned in the post (but not too many) and are full of small travel tips. Both, Reviews and Tips and Stories are updated at least 1-2 times a week.
In the travel News section you will find very short updates on what is going on in the world, where is the most expensive hotel and how much it costs and what is a good book to read while you travel from one place to another.
In development at this point is at least one new big section which will be about travel gear and travel gadgets.
